Brazilian Parrot pair, Beatriz and Luciana Varella, run the local media production company. They have a son, Zeca, who attends school with his friends.

The three generation Chinese Panda family are builders specialising in bamboo and teak buildings. Grandfather Lu Da (Master Lu) is the skilled master builder. His daughter, Mei, manages the business side of the family firm. Her children, Bo and Lian, attend the village school with their friends.

The peace-loving Palestinian Owls are the local scholars. Dad, Idris, restores documents and books. Mum, Salma, is the village librarian. Their son, Sami, is dedicated to his schoolwork and study of ancient wisdom.

Belgian Mouse, Julien Drapier, is a tailor and his wife, Dentelle, operates a haberdashery and craft store in Pawbride. Their toddler daughter, Elodie, can mostly be found in her corner of the store sorting buttons and playing with craft materials.

Israeli Ibexes, Avi and Talia Goldstein, operate the local bank, which houses their residence above.

The French Horse, Brigitte Bellecour, runs the local Pawbridge hair and beauty salon, The Velvet Mane.

The Irish Hedgehogs, Seamus and Siobhan Moore, live in their earthen home and spend their days foraging for berries, herbs, and other goodies that they supply to the restaurants and perfumer, Grayson Noseworthy.

The Greek Goats, Nikos, Daphne and daughter Chloe live in this lovely Cycladic style home.

The Pawbridge village school serves the Little Paw Valley community with an inclusive and high quality education. The head teacher is the Welsh Fox, Sian Bowen.

The local farmers of Little Paw Valley are the Border Collie dog family, originally from England, the Fields. Here at Field Farm, Arthur Field grows crops for the restaurants and stores of Pawbridge village. Mum, Constance (Connie), manages the farm books and her children, George and Alice.
